Patent Assignee Search
A Patent Assignee Search (or Patent Applicant Search) includes granted patents and
patent applications where the application was filed in a specific name. It also
locates patent applications or granted patents assigned to that specific name.
Generally a Patent Assignee Search covers applications filed over the past 20 years
(the life of a patent), but may be for a longer or shorter term as requested. These
searches can be conducted internationally or limited to Australia.
If requesting this type of search, we may also recommend depending on the circumstances,
that a company ownership search is undertaken to identify all related companies that related
to the specific name.
